How to check if someone's is cheating and what to do if he is?

FIRST
1. Dont let the aimbotter know that you're suspicious.
2. Open console ( ~ above tab key ) and write /players, find his/her slot number


3. /follow Slot number


Now you're spectating the player.

You'll notice a n00bish aimbotters right away, it aims very quick only headshots, but you also have
the more experienced aimbotters, they are not as easy to catch.

What to look for:

- When he/she is close-up with 2 or more players from the opposite team, you see
how the aimbot switches from one head to another (most aimbots dont aim at one
person untill he's dead, but on the nearest head.).
- The aim has a straight line from one head to another.
- After killing a player, when he is falling down, you can see the aim still follow his head.
- When a person is only using wallhack, they often start shooting before, or the very
second the player comes around the corner and sometimes even trying to shoot walls.

That's the main things you should look for. I actually recommend downloading
an aimbot and try it out on a server. NOT IN NORMAL SERVERS of course .There
are many aimbot servers you can try your bot on. Or speccing an omnibot when they are in server When you've tried an aimbot,
you find out more how it works, and it'll be easier to know when a player is cheating.

SECOND
Now your spectating the cheater and know he cheats you have to record some proof.
Type /record NAME in console to record.
Its would be helpfull to name it like the cheaters name so you can find it again.


Make your demo long so there's enough proof on it, if your demo is to short sometimes the cheater will get unbanned.
To stop your demo again type /stoprecord


If you recorded a video the Demo will be in your jaymod/demo/ folder ( if you recorded in jaymod, if you recorded in another mod its in that mod folder )
If you have taken a screenshot its in your jaymod/screenshots/ folder ( if you recorded in jaymod, if you recorded in another mod its in that mod folder )

Now you got the proof you can ban the cheater, if you can't ban then take a screenshot of his ip/id.
Type !fi NAME
And make a screenshot with /screenshot or /autoscreenshot.
/screenshot takes a .tga <- can't upload it everywhere.
/autoscreenshot takes a .jpg <- can upload it everywhere.


If you can't ban, kick the cheater and if you can't kick either, contact a high admin.

Now you have a demo and the ID/IP you can post your proof.
Go to the Ban proof forum -> here < -
click the server and post your proof

If you can't upload it at forum itself ( maybe because its dm_84 ( 2.6b ))

To watch the demo you recorded, go to the server where you recorded it and write into the console: /demo name ( name = the name you've given the file when recording )
